RISE

Research Institutes of Sweden is the largest public-sector research institute in Sweden, with about 3000 employees, 30% of whom are PhDs. RISE is independent and state-owned, and offers unique expertise for future-proof technologies, products and services. In international collaboration with companies, academia and the public sector, RISE contributes to a competitive business community and a sustainable society. RISE headquarters are located in Gothenburg and RISE employees are located all over Sweden.

The RISE Cybersecurity Unit involved in CYPRESS is among the largest public-sector cybersecurity research groups in Sweden, with year-long successful experience within R&D European and national projects in areas like Secure Communication; Authorization and Access Control; and Security Management, among others. The work on these topics has covered different application and technological areas, particularly IoT, WSNs and Critical Infrastructure, and has been in direct cooperation with industrial partners in telecommunication, cybersecurity and IT-industry. Outcomes include Open-Source Software, patent applications, several publications in renowned international venues, and contributions to international standardisation bodies, with special reference to the extensive experience and successful track record in security standardisation at the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

 

Sensative AB

Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) that specialises in providing innovative IoT technology solutions to customers in the smart building and smart city sectors. Our primary goal has been to make data easily accessible and actionable, breaking down system barriers and simplifying the implementation, scalability, and usability of IoT solutions. Our unique perspective centres around constructing a data-driven organisation by leveraging a horizontal architecture that liberates data, eliminates technology and vendor dependencies. One key achievement is the development of Yggio, a comprehensive IoT/digitalization platform that serves as a unified solution for municipalities, enterprise customers such as real estate companies, energy suppliers and water sewage companies. Initially, Yggio gained significant traction in the Swedish market and are now expanding globally.

 

Applio Tech AB 

SME providing software, IoT-services and consulting. As a result of the Celtic-Next project CRITISEC, Applio has released the software Applio Sense to the market. Applio Sense is a security lifecycle management software that also monitors the radio- and transmission-quality of the devices in the IoT landscape. Applio has a long experience in business system development and wireless communication technologies.
In the CYPRESS project Applio will contribute by continuing to develop Applio Sense according to the requirements from the project’s use cases. We will apply our expertise within the area of system integration to develop solutions that integrate the value of security lifecycle and monitoring to existing IoT-platforms, like Sensative Yggio. Applio also leads T5.1.

Ericsson Research is the central research organisation within Ericsson. Our mission is to provide Ericsson with advanced system concepts, technology and methodology and to secure long-term competitive product positioning. Security is one of the research areas within Ericsson Research hosting the key personnel from Ericsson contributing to this project.

SLC offers seamless, secure and cyber resilient mission- and business-critical communication and collaboration tools to public safety and private organisations, as well as users in the fields of Transportation, Utility and Industry (TUI), Healthcare or event security. Our solutions, based on advanced hybrid solutions combining Tetra, Tetrapol, and broadband technologies enhance situational awareness, improve user experience and safety, and optimise operational efficiency.

SLC’s dense portfolio is field-proven and tailored to the needs of our customers. It includes infrastructures, networks, devices, accessories, applications, software and services, based on the latest technologies.

SLC is strongly involved in multinational R&D projects and sets the standards for future technologies based on 4G and 5G. Gebwell Oy


Manufactures environmentally friendly and energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions for buildings. Our head office and production facilities are located in Leppävirta. In addition to Leppävirta, we have sales offices in Tampere and Vantaa. Gebwell Ltd. has subsidiaries in Sweden, Gebwell Sverige AB, and in Poland, Gebwell Sp. z o.o. In product development, Gebwell has utilised IoT and collected running data from heat pumps for many years. IoT also enables, for example, energy optimisation between properties

 

Elliot Cloud S.L 


Elliot Cloud has significant experience in participating in and coordinating R&D projects at national and European (H2020 and Digital Europe Programme) levels, and in deploying pilots in operational environments. In addition, Elliot Cloud has 3 years of experience developing and implementing its software in IoT networks and bringing disruptive digital technologies and solutions to industrial processes, where cybersecurity plays a key role in guaranteeing the quality of the service and avoiding undesired effects due to malicious attacks for instance.

For Elliot Cloud securing IoT networks or critical infrastructures is very relevant. With an annual turnover of almost 2,5 M€, Elliot Cloud has increased its monitoring capacity in the operational environment. For instance, Elliot Cloud is currently controlling and analysing more than 10 GWp of generated renewable energy, and more than 6 GW of power consumption in a sustainable manner.

At the geographical level, Elliot Cloud is actively working in Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom, as targeted European countries in its commercial roadmap. In addition, at a global scale, Elliot Cloud develops its activities mainly in Mexico and Brazil.

The balanced Elliot Cloud team has been composed to suit the needs of CYPRESS at the technical level as well as the management and business levels.
